Crow is in designer heaven; Nonie's caught the eye of a gorgeous boy; Jenny's rehearsing a new play.

But this time Edie's in trouble...The rumours are that slave children in India have been making Crow's new high-street collection.

How far do the girls have to go to save their dreams?

This is the second novel in the Threads series by Sophia Bennett. It's about what happens now Crow's designs have reached shops such as Miss Teen - the designs are taking the world by storm! But not everyone loves Crow's designs, and some people have doubts about how the clothes were made. A group of people in America have hacked into Edie's blog, saying that the designs were created by small children in India. So Edie, Crow, Nonie and Nonie's big brother go to India, and are shocked by what they see.

This novel was actually very informative and I reckon I learnt quite a bit from it too. Not many books are funny, serious and yet also a bit educational (in a good way, not in the boring kind of way!) so that made this novel unique. I also LOVE the dress on the cover of this book! It's so cute. Some of the clothes Nonie wears are amazing. She sounds so cool - I wish she was a real person.

My favorite character was Crow. She is such a unique character and her designs sound gorgeous! She also sounds very kind and funny. Crow is one of the coolest characters in the book!

I think it would be best if you read Threads 1 first before reading this  - so you know the background of the characters etc. You'll love Threads 1, it's such a good novel. In fact, I'm giving away a signed special edition copy! Why don't you enter? CLICK HERE to enter.

I recommend this book for girls 10+ and I give it 5/5 stars!
